Feeding Essentials: A Guide for New Parents

Everything you need to confidently feed your baby.

Whether you're breastfeeding, bottle feeding, or moving on to weaning, having the right products makes feeding time easier and more enjoyable for both you and your baby. Here's our guide to feeding essentials at every stage.

Newborn: The Basics

For breastfeeding, a good nursing pillow and breast pads are invaluable. For bottle feeding, choose BPA-free bottles with slow-flow teats. Sterilising equipment is essential for the first 12 months.

4–6 Months: Introducing Solids

When your baby shows signs of readiness, you can begin weaning. Soft-tipped spoons, a high chair with good support, and suction bowls that stay put are your best friends during this stage.

6–12 Months: Self-Feeding

As babies develop their pincer grip, they'll want to feed themselves. Finger foods, soft-grip cutlery, and a good splash mat under the highchair will make mealtimes fun — and less messy!
